The travel industry has traditionally asked professionals to choose between running their own business and accessing the resources of a larger organization.

1000 Mile Travel Group was created to challenge that choice. Founded in Melbourne in 2015, the business aimed to give experienced travel professionals greater independence, backed by the technology, supplier relationships, and operational support needed to succeed.

That original idea still shapes our business today: helping people do what they do best, with the connections and resources to go further.

From Australian Beginnings to a Global Network

Founded in Melbourne in 2015, 1000 Mile Travel Group expanded into the United Kingdom in 2017 and the United States in 2022. Today, we support more than 500 independent travel advisors across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

As part of CTM, we combine the personal service and specialist knowledge of independent travel professionals with the technology, supplier relationships and operational resources of an established global travel management company.

Our network also includes dedicated luxury leisure brands in Australia and the United States, connecting travelers with expert advice and personalized travel experiences.

Across every market, our focus remains consistent: empower experienced professionals, build trusted relationships, and help clients travel with confidence.
