ATIA – ATAS accreditation
ATAS is the ATIA Travel Accreditation Scheme that sets the benchmark for quality in the Australian travel industry. The accreditation scheme was designed to promote and recognize consumer protection, quality assurance, and the highest standard of professionalism in travel management companies across Australia. To achieve ATAS accreditation, travel agencies must undergo audits of financial statements to guarantee proper financial management. They must also demonstrate that they have professional indemnity and public liability insurance to provide the utmost security to their customers.
