1000MTG rewards top Australian advisors with a luxury Indonesian escape

1000 Mile Travel Group is taking its top-performing Australian travel advisors on a five-night luxury escape to Bali and Sumba, Indonesia, from 26–31 October 2026, recognising the independent business owners driving growth and excellence across its network.

The annual Top Achievers Trip rewards advisors for their performance, business development and contribution to the 1000MTG community, with this year’s recipients spanning corporate travel, luxury leisure, teamwork and emerging talent.

This year’s Australian Top Achievers are:

Sam Rowe has been recognised as Top Corporate Expert, reflecting his outstanding performance and continued success in corporate travel. His strong client relationships, industry expertise and focus on delivering tailored solutions have set him apart within the 1000MTG network.

With a strong focus on high-end leisure travel, Kurt Hufer has taken out the title of Top Leisure Expert. His destination knowledge, commitment to client service and continued business performance have made him a standout in the leisure category.

Stephanie McDonald and Emily Davidson have been recognised as part of this year’s Top Team, celebrating the strength of collaboration and the success achieved through working together to build a thriving travel business.

Rising Star Erin Price is being recognised for her impressive progress and momentum within the network, highlighting the growth and potential of the next generation of high-performing independent advisors.

Most Improved Advisor Nick Anderson is recognised for the significant growth of his business over the past year, driven in part by a strong stream of client referrals. His success reflects the trust he has built with his clients and the strength of the relationships that continue to drive his business forward.

Working with LA Collection, 1000MTG has curated an itinerary showcasing two contrasting sides of Indonesian luxury hospitality, from Bali’s design-led beachfront scene to the distinctive coastal setting and cultural heritage of Sumba.

The trip begins in Seminyak, Bali, with a two-night stay at Desa Potato Head Bali, a design-led beachfront destination known for its contemporary architecture, Indonesian creativity, food, and sustainability initiatives.

The group will then travel to Sumba, staying for three nights at Cap Karoso on Karoso Beach. Blending contemporary design with local culture and a dramatic coastal setting, the property offers a distinctive perspective on luxury Indonesian travel. Cap Karoso has been awarded one MICHELIN Key by the MICHELIN Guide.
